AI Visibility

AI inside your company is one thing. How AI systems describe you when someone asks about what you do, is another. This page is about the second.

  • Answer engines
  • Structured data
  • Entities and consistency
  • Measurement

The shift

More and more searches start in an assistant or an answer engine. When it answers, it doesn't show a list of results: it selects a few sources and builds an answer from them.

Whether your company is among those sources depends on many factors, and not all of them are in your hands. But several are: how your information is structured, whether it is consistent, whether it is easy to retrieve and whether it answers what people ask.

What we do

We improve the ability of answer engines and generative systems to understand, retrieve and cite relevant, reliable information about your company: structured data, clear definitions, a consistent entity across all sources and content that answers real questions.

It builds on the SEO you already have; it doesn't replace it. And we measure how your company appears across different queries and work on the factors that can improve its visibility, knowing that the result varies by model, query, context and sources we don't control.

What it depends on

Nobody can guarantee that an AI will cite you. What can be done is work on what makes it more likely.

Whether a generative system retrieves and cites your company depends, among others, on these factors:

  • Authority

Who else talks about you and with what credibility.

  • Content

Whether it answers what people ask directly and verifiably.

  • Structure

Structured data, clear hierarchy and explicit definitions.

  • Reputation

Reviews, mentions and coherence between what you say and what is said about you.

  • Sources

Consistent presence in relevant directories, media and platforms.

  • Crawlability

That the crawlers of the different systems can access your content.

  • Context

Sector, location and specialization expressed without ambiguity.

  • Model and query

Each system answers differently and each question activates different sources.

What we work on

  • Audit

How the main answer engines describe your company today and what is missing.

  • Structured data

    Schema.org, entities and machine-readable relationships.

  • Citable content

Definitions, real FAQs and pages that answer a specific intent.

  • Consistency

The same information about the company on the website, in profiles and in external sources.

  • Crawlability

Access, performance and technical signals for crawlers.

  • Measurement

Periodic tracking of mentions and citations, with its limitations explained.

The work you have already done on SEO isn't lost: it is the starting point.

SEO and AI visibility

Does it replace traditional SEO?

No. They are two layers of the same work. The first gets you found when someone searches; the second gets you understood and citable when someone asks.

Traditional SEO

Ranking in search engines

You appear in a list of results when someone types their search. It is still the foundation.

AI visibility

Being a retrievable, citable source

Generative systems can better understand what your company does and retrieve that information when a query calls for it. It is built on top of the former, and the result depends on the model and the query.

How we do it

  1. 1

    Presence audit

What answer engines say about your company today and what information is missing or inconsistent.

  2. 2

    Structure and data

Machine-readable structured data, entities and content hierarchy.

  3. 3

    Content and consistency

Definitions, real questions and the same information across all sources.

  4. 4

    Measurement and adjustment

Tracking of mentions and citations, and periodic adjustments.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as automating processes with AI?

No. Automating processes is AI working inside your company. AI Visibility is working on how the AI systems your clients use understand and describe your company. They are two different needs and are contracted separately.

What are AEO and GEO?

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is optimizing information for answer engines; GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), so that generative systems can retrieve it and use it as a source. In practice they are worked on together and on top of existing SEO.

Can you guarantee that ChatGPT or Gemini will cite my company?

No, and be wary of anyone who promises it. The result depends on the model, the query, authority and sources we don't control. What we do is work on the factors that are in your hands and measure how they evolve.

Does it replace SEO?

No. It complements it: it builds on the SEO you already have and the two reinforce each other. Previous work isn't lost.

How long until it shows?

Technical and structural changes are applied within weeks; the build-up of mentions and citations is gradual and variable. That's why we measure periodically instead of promising a date.

How is it measured?

By periodically querying the main answer engines with questions relevant to your business and recording whether your company appears, how it is described and which sources are cited. It is an indicative measurement, not an exact one.
